I generally listen to my readers comment on those articles that I post on this Blog. Several readers pointed out that the color coded tabs on the bottom of a tube of toothpaste is a myth.
And a couple of readers pointed me to a website claiming the same, that the stripe is ‘for an electric eye to make sure the tube is in the right direction for packaging.”
Really?
News Flash: this is incorrect! False!
Every article that I post on this blog is exhaustively researched. When I first heard of the color coding it was more than a year ago. I personally contacted, via, telephone, E-Mail, and even postal services, more than 100 different manufactures of chemicals, toothpaste ingredients, and manufactures of the tooth-paste themselves, in almost every response I received, they state: “These color coded stripes, represent the composition of the product, and is used to make sure the correct product is shipped to the correct geographical destination for sale to the general public, this is done because several areas prohibit the sale or dispensing of products that are composed of prohibited content, As some areas require the content to be without chemicals, whereas others have no such requirement.”
This is understandable, the same is for pork products being sent to a Muslim Nation. Please reader, rest assured every article that I publish on this blog contains facts, not myths.
