Filipino: Peanut butter at chocolate no-maghurno cookies

So I was in the store the other day and bought a dozen chocolate no-bake cookies, for a cost of $ 2.99, they are really good. However, I got to thinking about it and I think I got the wrong end of the deal, even though the cookies are very good. So, I did some searching and found a similar recipe, with some changes, I was able to recreate cookies, for a total value of less than six dollars, I made the bottom batch of 60 cookies, total cost right around 10 cents per cookie. So, if you buy them in stores at $ 2.99 for 12, you're paying nearly twenty-four cents per cookie; where as in this recipe, you can do it for just a dime, 10 cents each.

What could be better than an indulgent dessert made from ingredients you are sitting in your pantry and you do not have to go into the oven? The cookies take a few minutes of work; Most of the time was spent waiting for them to solidify the rich, nutty, chocolate delights them.

Total time: 40 min; Prep: 5 min; Inactive: 30 min, and Cook time: 5 min. Yields about 60 cookies + and easier to make.

ingredients
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 stick (8 tablespoons) un-salted butter
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup smooth peanut butter (chunky can be used as well)
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt

Line a baking sheet with wax paper, parchment or aluminum foil.

Using a medium saucepan and bring to medium heat the sugar, milk, butter and cocoa to a boil, stirring occasionally, then let boil for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add the oats, peanut butter, vanilla and salt, and stir vigorously to combine.

Drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, and let sit at room temperature until cooled and hardened, about 30 minutes. Then enjoy.

Can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 10 days.
